WHO WE ARE
Scandian AB is the new brand name which evolved through a Merger & Acquisition of two well established Swedish companies/corporate houses: Elof Hansson International (Part of Elof Hansson Group Estd 1897) and Serneke International Group AB (Part of Serneke Group (publ:NASDAQ Mid Cap).
The name ‘Scandian’ takes its inspiration from the fusion of two sides of the world- Scandinavia and India, as the background of the ownership and partners behind the brand name ‘Scandian’. Today we deliver projects and execute business with a fusion of competence and expertise from both Europe (mainly Sweden) and India.
We are a Swedish infrastructure company, focused on developing and structuring end-to-end infrastructure solutions that combine Swedish infrastructure principles rooted in Swedish engineering tradition excellence with tailored financing. through the Swedish Export Credit System and other institutional funding.
We specialize in aggregating project components and sourcing products that meet eligibility for the Swedish export credit system. Our focus is on large-scale initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We also arrange and execute infrastructure projects in cooperation with large international construction companies within our group and our partners. We are combining global construction & procurement competence and value engineering with Swedish expertise.
HERITAGE - a century of expertise
Scandian evolved from Serneke International Group (Part of Serneke Group (publ:NASDAQ Mid cap)) and acquired Elof Hansson International project business in Q1 2025, integrating over a century of expertise from Elof Hansson Group (est. 1897), making Scandian the only EPC exporting firm in Sweden for markets like AFRICA, INDIA, Balkans and South America
Following Scandian’s acquisition of Elof International, the new entity Scandian, builds on the combined heritage of Swedish infrastructure principles and established cross-border sourcing, contracting and delivery exposure forming a platform designed with deep capabilities to structure and support complex infrastructure projects.

Export Credit Backed Projects
Scandian brings a well-developed understanding of ECA-backed (Export Credit Agency) financing models, underpinned by strong partnerships and access to the Swedish export credit system. Through Scandian Project Solutions AB and Scandian Infrastructure, we collaborate with SEK, EKN, and other export credit institutions to support the structuring of long-term financing solutions for projects in emerging and developed markets
